Ashley Papalia

Ashley Papalia has been riding since the age of six and has developed a strong passion and dedication to horses.

She has been competing in the hunter/jumper ‘A’ circuit for over 25 years; from the pony ring, hunters, equitation, and jumper ring.

Ashley became a professional in 2009 and started her own business, ‘Papalia Training’, where she enjoys teaching beginners through to competitors.  

Ashley has worked under many top professionals, having the ability to travel across Canada and the United States to attend and compete in horse shows.  Ashley continues to receive mentoring from top professionals in the Lower Mainland, as well as branching out into Eastern Canada in the winter of 2012 to ride and train.

  • 3rd Place $75,000 1.45 Canadian Championships 2021 at Royal West; 8th Place Canadian Championships overall

  • 5th Place $10,000 1.40 Grand Prix, September 2021 Thunderbird; Reserve Champion 1.40 Division

  • Numerous placings in the CSI 3* 1.35/1.40 Divisions at August 2021 Thunderbird

  • 2021 Trainer of Jessica Felcan, 2nd Place CET National Finals

  • 2021 Trainer of Jessica Felcan, 4th Place CET Regional Finals

  • 2021 Trainer of Emma Woo, 6th Place Jump Canada Medal National Finals
